What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants securely use outside tools. When you connect the RR Toolbox MCP server, your assistant can run our decision models for you — right in the conversation, no copy-pasting between apps.

There are two ways to connect:

• Chat apps (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity): paste our URL into your settings and sign in with your Supported Intelligence account. Your RR Toolbox key is pulled automatically — nothing to copy.
• Coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and more): add a short config snippet that includes your RR Toolbox key.

Where's my key?

Your RR Toolbox key starts with RRT-. Log on and find it under Profile & API Keys. You only need it for the coding-tool setups below.

Quick Start

Pick the tool you use and follow the steps. Each setup takes a couple of minutes.

Claude (claude.ai or Desktop)

1. Open Settings → Connectors on claude.ai or the Claude desktop app.
2. Click the Customize link to head to the new Connectors location. Click + and then Add Custom Connector.
3. Name it Rapid Recursive Toolbox and paste the server URL: https://api.rapidrecursive.com/mcp
4. Click Add and sign in with your Supported Intelligence logon when prompted. Your RR Toolbox key is linked automatically.
5. Set your tool permissions. We recommend Always allow — Rapid Recursive Toolbox tools are read-only, with no write capabilities.
6. In a chat, you can check it's on: click + then Connectors → Rapid Recursive Toolbox — it should already be enabled. If not, flip the toggle to the right to enable it.
7. That's it — say "use the Rapid Recursive Toolbox" in a chat and Claude automatically brings in the Rapid Recursive Toolbox MCP connection.

Works on every plan, including Free (limited to one custom connector). On Team or Enterprise plans, an organization owner adds the connector first under Organization connectors, then each member clicks Connect.

Connected? Paste one of these into your assistant to see the Toolbox in action. You don't name the model — it reads the situation and picks the one that fits. The numbers are just a starting point; swap in your own in plain language ("make it $3M a year", "my car's 7 years old") and it re-runs.

About the "power user" prompts

The build-and-deploy variants ask the assistant to create and ship a website from the results, so they need a coding-capable agent — Claude Code or Cursor — or a Pro/Max-tier plan on Claude, Perplexity, or ChatGPT. In a plain chat, use the first prompt. Each Vercel app name ends in a random suffix so it won't collide with a project that already exists — keep it or rename it to your own.

Troubleshooting

I see "Something went wrong with setting up the connection" or "Reauth required"

The server doesn't show up in my tool list

I get a 401 error or an endless sign-in loop
